30 year old HAROUN RISA has had an interest in artistry, spirituality, tourism, voice over, film/TV production and journalism since he was a boy; he has been acting his whole life, and has been doing voice overs and writing too, alongside more interests in the media, voice over, literature and journalism world.
He started off in stage plays such as (3:02), (ONCE UPON A PARABLE-2013), (KING HEROD-THE MAN ABOVE, 2012) then he started his TV stint as a background artist in a TV series called LIES THAT BIND, then went on to feature as a supporting actor in short films such as PLASTIC MAASAI, HOMECOMING, PUMWANI and STICKING RIBBONS, alongside participating in a flash mob in the Nairobi CBD promoting LIPA NA M-PESA, among the mobile money transfer services by Safaricom, Kenya's biggest mobile communication platform.
Haroun also made his international debut by getting a supporting role on the second season of Netflix’s SENSE8 TV series, which was set in Kenya, and also became a supporting actor in the Kenyan feature film 18 HOURS, and featuring in an episode in the award-winning local TV show, VARSHITA.

Not only is Haroun a very talented actor and scriptwriter, he is an author of novels, the first one called MOMBASA RAHA, MY FOOT, a fiction novel raising awareness against human trafficking and sex tourism in Kenya. Currently, the first 7 novels in the fiction novel series are published on Amazon.
