Doroteja made her debut in 2012 with the acclaimed feature film "Class Enemy," directed by Rok Bicek. After her first experience with film, she was convinced to continue training as an actress, while gathering acting experience on professional film sets and stages. Her first feature film lead role as Iva in "History Of Love," directed by Sonja Prosenc, premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2018. Currently residing in the artistic hub of Copenhagen, she navigates her work in the Slovenian theater and international film industry. Doroteja 's performances are a testament to her collaboration with directors of diverse poetics and aesthetics. Always artistically and creatively curious, she seeks to create contemporary characters that transcend stereotypes and immerse viewers in the depth of her craft. She is a member of the European Film Academy and The Slovenian Association of Dramatic Artists (SADA) and has an MA in Stage Acting.
