TEATERSELSKABET Dédié, Copenhagen, SEEKING ACTRESS

For our production of the beautiful play Agnes of God, we are looking for an English-speaking (an accent is no problem at all) female (or female presenting) actor ages 30 to 55, all types.

In the Spring we performed the first act of the play at an international theatre festival and were rehearsing for the premiere of the whole play at H15Scene in Kødbyen in September, when the actress playing one of three big parts (the psychologist) very reluctantly had to withdraw due to unfortunate personal circumstances. However, we still have everything lined up (including music and visuals we’ve had made for the play by two brilliant artists) for the premiere and have been able to push the date a bit till later in the Fall of this year, so we decided to venture forth with another actress. Thus this post!

As we were disillusioned and dying inside from post traumatic paperwork syndrome, we put this in motion with no funds at all, but we have managed to secure a great venue to play at and will of course get the ticket proceeds. And let’s see where we end up. Stranger things have happened than theatre actors eventually getting paid.
